The myths and legends of Viking culture have been studied for centuries as have the exploits of those who lived in the those times. Until now, nothing new has been added. Nibelung is definitely filling that void by bringing new insights, legends, myths, and songs based on the lives of the northern European adventurers known as  the Vikings. Norse gods are treated with respect and celebration instead of buzz-saw metal as a traditionalist might expect. Nibelung’s first Aarchon release, The Lay of Thrym, offers up a collection of songs and poetry about a culture from the distant past. Who knows, some of it may actually be accurate. Revisit us in the near future when The Lay of Thrym is finally available and the sparks fly from Thor’s mighty hammer (and this web site).
